signing with baby

Baby Center had this feature on signing with baby about a month ago and I haven't had a chance to put it up. Some of the signs are wrong-or maybe they are right for babies-but they are not the signs I learned. The point is that signing with your baby is beneficial to you and baby. Children catch on fast so please don't think you have missed a chance to sign with your preschooler. Jonas and Ady LOVE to sign and both know several words. Jaden signs "more" and "please" and I hope that he will catch on soon to "eat" "up" and "read" since he shows NO desire to talk. He doesn't talk but the boy will sing the "oowah" part of "Walk Along the River" *this link plays up to the oowah part but you get the point*

sign class

Last night was awful. We have new rules in sign class. The one rule that I DO NOT LIKE is NO WRITING. WTF how does he expects us to learn these signs? I know 2 deaf people-Him, who I see once a week and BRYAN, who isn't signing yet. I learn these things by writing them down and having them to look at. This class is expensive(when you add in weekly sitter costs) if I am going to be stressed, then it just isn't worth it. I want to be able to communicate with Bryan, that was the purpose behind this class. Honestly, at this time, that purpose has been fulfilled. I can definitely talk(sign) with Bryan for the next several years. I really enjoy going to sign. we don't have alot of social time, hell we don't have alot of us time, but once a week we get both of those things. Plus this is something we enjoy doing for ourselves and that is healthy and benefits the entire family. UGH. I AM SO FRUSTRATED!

This might be where I will be learning signs from now:(
At least it is a good site
