I have barely recovered from last night but need to tell you just how awesome the Awesome Hubby is
Steve graduated from the Dale Carnegie class last night. It was a LONG drawn out ceremony consisting of sitting in a hotel conference room listening to others, like my husband, talk about how the class has changed their lives and where they plan to be in 6 months. It was HELL! Absolute HELL! The 12 week class was every Thursday from 6-9:30pm and even though they invited family and friends(including kids) they felt no need to shorten class even a tiny tiny tiny bit.
All bitching aside I am truly a proud wife. Steve won some high achievement(blah blah) award. I think to the Dale followers it is sort of like being valedictorian or a Nobel peace prize winner. The class instructor had some incredible things to say about Steve when he was presenting the award. Steve's thank you speech was very nice considering his initial reaction was a short applause for the winner(before realizing they said his name) then he looked at me and said "OH CRAP" He was really very shocked. I am very happy I was able to experience this with him.
